SATURDAY LOVE
My friend’s birthday was this past weekend and we went to the East Village to celebrate.
We started with boozy brunch at Poco — which, by the way, was INCREDIBLY packed. I’ve seen it several times on those “Best Brunches in NYC” lists that you see when you’re googling brunch options so I figured it would be popular but the line outside the door was kinda shocking lol. However, the food was good and they were generous with the unlimited beverages so I guess I understand why it was so packed. One of the guys in attendance is a photographer on the side so he pulled out his camera afterwards and took several shots of us while we were waiting on Ubers to go to the next spot. You’ll notice the pics he took because of the amazing quality!
After the mini photoshoot in the street, we headed to PS450 and had more drinks and food and danced a bit until we were all too tired to stand (or at least I was lol). I ended up getting home probably around 8:00 or so and I think I was sleep by 9:45 because I’m a very old woman inside this body lol. Perfect NYC day! What do you think of my look? I wore a cold shoulder sweater from Forever 21, black jeans from Fashion Nova, my Nine West booties and a new chain belt from Shein that I’m mildly obsessed with. This is my ideal outfit for a day like this…casual but stylish. On Sunday, I did absolutely nothing but go to Trader Joes and buy groceries so the rest of my weekend was pretty uneventful. Check back later this week for a break down on my 10 year reunion/homecoming trip! xo - Ash
