CORONA CATCH-UP

Hello you!

Whew…where I do even begin?! What a difference a week makes. It has been the weirdest, most bizarre time of our existence and I’m hoping and praying for some normalcy realllll soon. You honestly never think about how great it is to be able to move freely around the world without restriction…until you can’t anymore. How is everyone feeling? Are you staying sane in the midst of the crazy? I’ve found that it’s been helpful to do things that take my mind off of the impending doom being reported out all over social media and the evening news. I’ve been reading, cleaning, catching up on my shows, working LIKE CRAZY (from home, of course) and FaceTiming with my friends.

I’d like to get some videos completed during this time as well but my skin has been freaking out lately and don’t feel comfortable getting on camera just yet. When my skin calms down, I’ll film a few things — namely, an unboxing, possibly a giveaway and maybe a book review? I don’t know, we’ll see.

Before the virus breakout, I posted about losing my all-time favorite red lipstick (honestly, it’s my favorite lipstick, period) — the one and only MAC Ruby Woo. So, I decided to do a poll on IG about the best red lipstick options on the market and received an overwhelming response! I found the replies super helpful so of course I want to share them with you. In other news (sorry, this blog post is all over the damn place today), after #NYFW was over, I went to #HarlemFashionWeek and wore a cute lil’ look that I got lots of good feedback on. ;) Behold, my ode to Spring. Lacy, longline top, Calvin Klein bralet, my favorite H&M jeans, white pumps, a boater hat and some MAC Ruby Woo. ;) What do we think? Was this look a YES?
