I felt very #nycstreetstyle in this look. ;)

I took some of these photos in front of the construction area by my house and everyone was staring and a guy drove by and yelled at me lol. Lawd, NYC is a trip. You just gotta grin and bear it sometimes. This Boohoo coat is a recent purchase and I’m so happy with the quality! It’s really warm and cozy and was about $65. I’ve never purchased anything from them before so I was a little nervous to see what I’d get but I really like it. I will say though that one of the buttons already popped off LMAO. So, maybe I shouldn’t be raving so much about the quality huh? My point is just that I wasn’t sure how warm it would be and it’s actually pretty great in that arena.

I put it with a leopard turtleneck from Shein, some old jeans from FashionNova and my chain belt from ASOS. I really need to find more areas to shoot around my neighborhood because I keep going to the community college over here because it’s quiet and people don’t stare (too much) but I’m getting a little tired of these backgrounds lol. I’m getting on my own nerves with this repetition. I’ll branch out next week…promise! Blogging takes so much energy, sometimes I just don’t have it in me. :-| Anyway, what are your thoughts on mixing black and brown? I think it works! As long as there’s some connective tissue — some gold jewelry or leopard print, etc. After shooting, I hung out with my friends in Brooklyn at a restaurant called The Bedford and then we went bowling at Brooklyn Bowl. BK Bowl had a DJ that played an all Kendrick Lamar set, we ordered some fried food, drank and struggled not to bowl gutterballs all night. Good times all around. ;)

I’ve already called AT&T and they said I’m eligible for an upgrade so a new iPhone XS or XR is on the list! Cannot wait. My self-taken pics will be so much better realllyyyy soon. And one of these days I’ll figure out the right tripod/remote combo for the old DSLR camera that my cousin sent me like a year ago. Don’t judge. I promise 2019 is about improvement ha. xoxo - Ash
