#OTRII

I have amazing friends!! Have I ever told yall that before?! I have THE best friends ever. 

So, I'm minding my business, relaxing on a Thursday night. I get a text from my friend Camille who casually asks if I want to go see #OnTheRunII {Beyonce' & Jay Z...for those of you living under a rock}!!!! For FREE. In a SUITE. Yall, how is this my life? I jumped at the chance to join her. She mentioned that one of our friends couldn't make it so I was happy to play second fiddle lol. I headed to MetLife Stadium in Jersey after work and danced and sang all night. The suite also had food and beverages so I was really living my very best life. Bey and Jay put on a spectacular show and I really enjoyed every minute. I originally opted out of going to the show because I've seen Destiny's Child a few times, Beyonce's solo show a few years ago and #OTR. I basically assumed that this one wouldn't be that much different than what I've already seen. Now, don't get me wrong. Their shows are always stellar. I'm a big Beyonce' fan because of course, she's a Houston girl like me. Random fact(s): My mom used to work with her dad at Xerox a million years ago and my sister went to the same middle school that Beyonce' and Kelly attended so ya know, I feel like we're connected in several ways. ;) We're basically cousins. HA.

Anyhoo, back to the show. I thought the pyrotechnics, graphic design and videography were actually a step up from #OTR. They really pulled out all the stops. I would've liked to hear them do more of the new album but I really have nothing negative to say about the entire show. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Now, on the outfit. I wanted to be comfortable and cute. I originally thought of a look with some heels but decided that heels probably weren't a good idea if I really wanted to have fun. So glad I went with flat boots. By the end of the night, my feet still hurt from standing/dancing/walking around the giant stadium so with heels, I would've died lol. Did you see the show? What did you think?
