TAKE 1

Have you ever bought a pair of shoes that just made you happy inside? That's how I felt when I finally purchased these boots that I had been eyeing on Zara's site for months. 

I decided to style them two different ways and shoot both looks. This is was my first look: kinda soft and sweet. I paired a pink and black chevron print dress that was gifted to me by my sister {she bought it from Forever 21 several years ago} with fishnet tights and the boots. Unfortunately, I'm thinking it's probably time that I gift the dress as well because I was trippin' the whole time about how short it was. Ha! I think my legs are a tad too long for this length. I actually was walking up the stairs in the subway headed to shoot and I self-consciously grabbed the hem of the dress as I walked so no one could see under it lol. I heard a man behind me say "well, you shouldn't be wearing such short dresses..." and I almost FLIPPED OUT ON HIM. Until I realized it was one of my old Howard classmates and he was just joking. LMAO. He almost got cussed out. Anyyyyyyhoooo, what are your thoughts on this dress? Should I keep it or re-gift it to a shorter friend? Let me know in the comments below. XO - Ash
